Bareilly – Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University hosted a street play aimed at raising awareness among students about the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, as part of the N.E.P. Sarathi Yojana. The performance focused on educating students about various facets of the NEP and dispelling common misconceptions surrounding it.
The play effectively highlighted several key aspects of the National Education Policy, including the provision for dual degrees, open learning systems, hybrid learning modes, and the flexibility to choose courses based on personal interests. It also covered important topics such as diploma course arrangements, a multiple entry and exit system, virtual labs, as well as opportunities in art, music, crafts, sports, yoga, and community service. The digital library system and evaluation methods were also addressed, all conveyed through engaging dialogues.
The event was organized with the participation of Dean of Student Welfare, Prof. P.B. Singh, along with Cultural Coordinator Dr. Jyoti Pandey. A number of students contributed to the performance, including Tanishka Jha, Medhavi Verma, Pankhuri Kanchan, Deepanshi, Bhumika, Meena, Saurabh, Anmol, Rishi, Harshit, Gaurav, Piyush, Deepak, Srishti, Kajal, Anjali, Deepansh, Pratik, Pallavi, Madhuri, Nishtha, Shreya, Nandini, Priya, and Akshi.
The initiative was well received and demonstrated a creative approach to enhancing understanding of the NEP among the student body.
